Waiting On Wednesday - 13.7.16

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Anyway, here are my WOW picks, let me know what you think and link me to yours!

Poison's Kiss by Breeana Shields
January 7th 2017 - Random House

Poison's Kiss (Untitled, #1)
Marinda has kissed dozens of boys. They all die afterward. It s a miserable life, but being a visha kanya a poison maiden is what she was created to do. Marinda serves the Raja by dispatching his enemies with only her lips as a weapon.

Until now, the men she was ordered to kiss have been strangers, enemies of the kingdom. Then she receives orders to kiss Deven, a boy she knows too well to be convinced he needs to die. She begins to question who she s really working for. And that is a thread that, once pulled, will unravel more than she can afford to lose.

 My thoughts:
This sounds like super thrilling exciting read and I love the idea of the alternative setting - not sure if it's going to be an all out fantasy or fantasy set on our earth, but either way this could be absolutely awesome!

  2. This sounds really exciting! I'm loving all the fantasy novels centred around Arabic and Indian culture recently! It makes a change from the usual westernised, medieval fantasy settings.

  3. This is also on my TBR list! I am a big SJ Maas fan and it did say on Goodreads: This commercial YA fantasy is romantic and addictive like a poison kiss and will thrill fans of Sarah J. Maas and Victoria Aveyard.
I hope it can live up to this!
